May the Force Be With You

Another shot from our family shooting night. At first, we were a little disappointed at the blue light that strayed from the light saber. After looking at it on my computer, I really liked the way that it gives the lightsaber action as if it had just been moved from that spot. This is a fun technique with lots of possibilities!

Star Wars Battlefront

This was a fun family project. We all contributed to this painting with light technique to create an interesting Star Wars Battle.

Having fun with color

Just finished "tweaking" the photos I took of Annie. I had fun adjusting this one - removing some elements and adding others in.

Playing with Food (or at least photographing it)

This was a fun experiment with light and bouncing light. I took this awhile back with traditional black & white film and came across these images while organizing my photographs. I love to shoot pictures, but don't always love to organize them. I have come to the realization that I MUST organize before things get way out of control. Kind of like my music. I decided 2 months ago that I HAD to organize it before it took over my computer and I didn't know where anything is. That is slowly, but surely coming under control. Just about everyday, I add a little more & more music back into my computer and into very controlled groupings and such. Well, my photographs have been just as fun to organize. I have found myself with the task of combining my traditional black & white film with the digital age. So, I have found myself scanning my days away. Here are some of my favorites. I love the way the light bounces off the metal surface and the detail in the texture of the sifter.
