What on earth is it?
I guess I've been feeling a little abstract lately. This photo was taken over the summer. Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a hint: I took it while out to lunch with a friend and our kids. This was during my play around with macro images. I really like the lighting and the texture on this one. Of course, I am usually drawn to subjects for the texture I can get out of them.

Celebrate Summer
One of the first photos I ever shot with a waterproof camera. This was done with a disposable. I loved it so much I got a waterproof digital. For those of you that know me, you know that I absolutely hate putting my head under water - not because I'm a girl and don't want to mess up my hair, but because of too many childhood memories of really bad ear infections. Leave it to the chance to get that one really great picture to be THE reason I will go completely underwater.
